Police have said they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for a missing teenage girl who was last seen at Stockport railway station.

Melawit, aged 15, was last seen at 10.12am on Friday 12 June at Stockport station. It is believed she may have travelled to Birmingham or the Croydon area of London.

Melawit is described as being of medium build, around 4ft 11in tall and with dark skin.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, leopard print flared trousers, a black and white zip-up jacket, a black cap, black trainers, a grey shawl, and silver headphones.

She also has a black leather backpack and large pink suitcase.

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for anybody with information to come forward.

Anybody with information should call 101, or report online here.
