Do you think there ought to be reform to health and social care in Stockport?

A public consultation on the ONE Health and Care Plan is due to close on 4 August. Residents can voice their opinions at some upcoming pop-up sessions in Hazel Grove and Brinnington.

These opinions will in turn shape the ONE Health and Care Plan, as residents are invited to comment on 'a number of priorities'.

The existing aims of the plan are: to ensure that Stockport residents are healthier and happier; to reduce health inequalities; to provide safe, high quality services; to 'empower' residents to 'live their best lives'.

A description on the Stockport Council consultation website reads: "This plan is about what we can all do to be healthier and have the care and support we need now and in the future. It builds on the work already being done across different organisations and brings it together into one plan.

Two more pop up sessions are planned before the deadline on 4 August:

  • Hazel Grove | Sainsbury's, London Road | Thur 3 August | 10.30am-1.30pm
  • Brinnington Life Centre | Fri 4 August | 11am-2pm
