Merseyway's Pop Up shop will be hosting something a little different this October.

From 21-27 October, artist Anne Bardsley will be showcasing and selling some of her artwork in her latest exhibition 'Wildlife Unleashed'.

The Pop Up shop will be turned into an art studio for the duration of the exhibition - visitors can wander in for free, speak with the artist, and buy some of the original pieces.

The exhibits focus on endangered animals. Anne's art is based on reference photos taken at several renowned zoos, including Welsh Mountain Zoo, Blackpool Zoo, Chester Zoo, and Edinburgh Zoo.

An exhibition spokesperson said: "Anne's work gives these endangered animals a voice, and promotes conservation efforts. [...]

"Each artwork captures the essence of these magnificent creatures and highlights the urgent need for their protection."

Anne's exhibition in Stockport will be the latest in a skein of shows across the UK; this rising artist has previously had work exhibited in Manchester, London, Leeds, Bury, Lancaster, and Oldham. She also helped with the sculptures in Stockport's latest frog trail.

Those looking to buy some of Anne's art in Stockport will also be able to make use of a special offer for the duration of the exhibition - in person art is up to 40% off online prices.
