An opticians based in Bramhall has relocated to a new premises after 'outgrowing' their old one.
Ladybrook Opticians, an independent local practice, has moved to a new premises on Fir Road in Bramhall, in a larger space just next-door to their last site.
The new practice boasts a 'modernised environment', with more floor-space, a separate pre-screening area, a dry eye clinic, and a second consulting room.
There's also an extended range of frames, plus more room for eyewear styling.
It's based in what was formerly Betty's Plaice, the fish and chip shop.
The extensive conversion of the new premises started on 6 July.
The team saw patients as normal (closing only on 20-21 July to move equipment and stock), then re-opened on 22nd July with the same friendly team.
Ashley Jardine, owner and optometrist at Ladybrook Opticians, said: "Moving premises has meant that we've been able to enhance our patient journey whilst maintaining our excellent standards of customer care.
"There's been a real buzz within the team as we've welcomed our loyal patients as well as new ones to our beautiful practice, which has been designed to offer an even better customer experience.
"This move offered an invaluable opportunity to ensure that the eye care needs of the Bramhall community are met to the highest degree, and the entire team remains committed to upholding that service and elevating our services wherever possible."
Ladybrook Opticians opened in 2005, and runs the only optometrist-led Lumenis OptiLight IPL dry eye service in Stockport. The larger premises provide this clinic with the capacity and dedicated space it needs.
Ashley added: "The experienced team that our patients know has moved with us, and the way we care for our patients has not changed. We have been part of Bramhall since 2005, and this move keeps us here, with the time and space to look after patients properly."
