Easter weekend | Rockafellas | Fri 3 - Sun 5 April

Easter weekend at Rockafellas… we're not easing into it, we're going all in.

Open 'til 3AM all weekend. Three days, no half measures.

And yeah, 2 drinks for a fiver… biggest happy hour in SK1.

Friday, Dan Stephens sets the tone from 8.

Saturday, Josh Gilmore takes it deeper… same time, same energy.

Then Sunday… we start early. Chambers and Stardog from 2 'til 10… into Family Tree carrying it all the way through to 3AM.

Just good music, good drinks, and a room that doesn't want to go home.

Springo Bingo | Merseyway Shopping Centre (outside Primark) | Sat 4 April | 11am-2pm

'Springo Bingo', the outdoor bingo event, is returning to Merseyway Shopping Centre this Easter Saturday, with entertainment, prizes, and more.

Games will be taking place every hour, from 11am until 2pm, outside Primark.

It will be a return for Springo Bingo, which had a successful debut in 2024.

For those who haven't been, expect a lively and engaging twist on the traditional game, combining bingo with live performers, themed Easter entertainment and audience interaction.

The event forms part of Merseyway's Easter programme, which also includes a free Easter-themed craft session taking place earlier in the week on Thursday 2 April from 11am, offering hands-on fun for children while stocks last.  

Victoria Nichol, Merseyway Centre Manager said "We're delighted to bring Springo Bingo back to Merseyway after such a positive response in 2024. It's a fantastic way to bring people together while offering a fun alternative to the traditional easter egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits.

"We're looking forward to welcoming families for a day of entertainment, prizes and lots of Easter fun in the heart of Stockport."

Stockport Stroll architecture tour | Stockport Plaza (meeting point) | Sat 4 April | 1pm

Enjoy a guided tour of Stockport's architectural delights this Easter Saturday.

Meet outside Stockport Plaza at 1pm for the walking tour, which is around two hours in length.

A description for this event reads: "Come and discover Stockport's architecture on this friendly guided walk through the town centre.

"We'll start with a peep inside the magnificent Plaza Super Cinema, one of the finest surviving examples of Art Deco grandeur in the North West. From there, we'll stroll beneath the arches of the Viaduct and take in the brand new Transport Interchange before weaving through Merseyway — where you'll get up close to Alan Boyson's remarkable concrete screen wall, a piece of public art most people walk past without a second glance.

"We finish at the striking Stopford House, a bold statement in civic architecture that's well worth a closer look."

Drum festival | Stockroom | Sat 4 April | 2-4pm

Join us for an electrifying afternoon of explosive percussion, diverse musical expressions, and pure rhythmic energy as we bring Greater Manchester's drummers together in one vibrant space.

Express yourself percussively, discover incredible talents from different cultures, and feel the community connection that only live drumming can deliver.

This is your chance to immerse yourself in a high-energy celebration, support local artists, and honor drummers worldwide on their special day (April 4th – the perfect 4/4 nod to rhythm!).

Easter fun day | The Mess and Play Company Bredbury | Sun 5 April | 12-3pm

Join us for an Easter Fun Day for all the family.

Meet Peter Rabbit and have your photo taken.

Make an Easter Bonnet and join in the parade.

The centre will be open for children to explore.
