Bonfire / firework events | locations across the borough | Fri 1 - Sat 2 November

A wide range of bonfire and fireworks events will be taking place at locations across the borough. Many of these events include not just displays, but also fairground rides, food and drink, and more.

Bear in mind that these events are ticketed!

  • Heatons Sports Club | Fri 1 November | from 5.15pm (display at 8pm)
  • Bramhall (Stockport Rugby Club) | Fri 1 November | from 5pm
  • Bredbury St Mark's Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 8pm)
  • Marple / Brabyns Park | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 7.30pm)
  • Cale Green / Stockport Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 5.30pm (display at 8pm)
  • Hawk Green Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 8pm)
  • Poynton Park | Sat 2 November | from 5.30pm (display at 9pm)

Outside the Box Comedy Night | Stockport Garrick Theatre | Fri 1 November | 7pm (doors)

Outside the Box is hosting a comedy night at the Garrick on Friday 1 November, featuring Nick Doody, Nina Gilligan, Ryan Kenny, and MC Morgan Rees.

Outside the Box comedians perform in a number of clubs across the UK, with legendary names such as Stephen Merchant, Bill Bailey, Dara O'Briain, Lee Mack, Jimmy Carr, and more all having made appearances for the club. 

This is not the only comedy night at the Garrick, with dates set throughout the year. Each night features four comedians from Outside the Box, including both circuit comics and brand new talent.  

As the club states: "Not only popular for recognisable faces, Outside The Box strives to find the best circuit comics and brand new talent to each and every venue. 

"Every bill is designed specifically for each club and we're proud to be known for having a group of gigs that are not only fun for the audience but also for the comedians who perform."

Doors open at 7pm, with the event set to start at 7.45pm.

Futureshock Wrestling | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Sun 3 November | 5.30-8.45pm

Futureshock Wrestling returns to Stockport Masonic Guildhall on Sunday 3 November.

A description reads: "Live action-packed pro wrestling for fans of all ages. If you've got WWE fans in your family they'll love this."
