Here is a roundup of some of the bonfire and fireworks displays taking place across Stockport borough in November 2024.

All of these events take place on either Friday 1st or Saturday 2nd November - that is to say, the closest weekend to bonfire night itself.

Heatons Sports Club | Fri 1 November | from 5.15pm (display at 8pm)

This event at the Heatons Sports Club opens from 5.15pm, with the main display due to take place at 8pm. 

There is also a children's display at 6.15pm. 

It features food and drink, funfair rides, and of course some top fireworks displays.

Tickets are available from the club house, with card-only payments. 

Costs are as follows: 

  • Adults - £8
  • Children (under 15) - £5
  • Family (two adults, two children) £18

Bramhall (Stockport Rugby Club) | Fri 1 November | from 5pm

This special celebration features not just a fireworks display, but also a fun fair, fire dancers, food and drink, and much more. 

And if that wasn't enough, the display itself will be a 'themed spectacular', set to the music of Taylor Swift.

The event takes place from 5-10.30pm at Stockport Rugby Club.

Suffice to say that basic admission is as follows: 

  • Adults - £12.95
  • Children (3-16) £7.95
  • Under three - free

Bredbury St Mark's Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 8pm)

This event at Bredbury St Mark's Cricket Club features a fireworks display from 8pm, as well as an outdoor bar area, fairground rides, a DJ, and a range of street food vendors. 

Tickets are available online. Please note that you won't be able to buy tickets at the venue on the night. 

Prices (not including booking fees) are as follows: 

  • Adult - £8.50 
  • Child (3-16) - £5
  • Family of four (two adults, two children) - £27
  • Family of (two adults, three children) - £32

Marple / Brabyns Park | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 7.30pm)

The Marple bonfire makes a return to Brabyns Park for what will be its 52nd iteration! 

As well as the fireworks display, visitors can expect a fire lighting procession from 7pm, plus a performance from the Conundrum band, food stalls, mulled wine, and more.

Tickets are available online. 

Prices are as follows: 

  • Adult - £8.50
  • Child - £5
  • Under five - free (but you'll still need to pre-book a ticket)

Cale Green / Stockport Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 5.30pm (display at 8pm)

Stockport Cricket Club hosts a bonfire, fireworks display and funfair from 5.30pm on Saturday 2 November. 

Expect plenty of family fun, plus food and drink. 

Tickets are available on the gate. 

Prices are as follows: 

  • Adult - £6
  • Children - £4
  • Under fives - free
  • Family of four - £22

Hawk Green Cricket Club | Sat 2 November | from 6pm (display at 8pm)

Hawk Green hosts a bonfire and fireworks display on Sat 2 November from 6pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, and the fireworks display takes place at 8pm. 

There will be a DJ, children's entertainment, food stalls, a licensed bar, and more. 

Tickets are available online. 

Prices are as follows: 

  • Adult - £6
  • Child (under 16) - £4
  • Under five - free

Poynton Park | Sat 2 November | from 5.30pm (display at 9pm)

Poynton's annual bonfire and fireworks display returns for the 51st time, and promises to be a 'spectacular evening' in the words of the organisers. 

Tickets are available online.

  • Child (3-16) - £6
  • Family of four (two adults, two children) - £30
