There is lots to do in and around Stockport this weekend!
The Cats and Dogs weekend at the Petersgate Tap will begin on Friday and continue throughout the weekend - a must for beer aficionados.
On Saturday, budding scientists will find a day of experiments and activities at the 'Make Stuff' science event at central library.
Sunday will see the Futureshock Wrestling championship, as Joe Blazr takes on Lid Lykos.

Cats and Dogs weekend | The Petersgate Tap | Fri 9 - Sun February
A weekend of very special beers from local brewery Torrside, served from 12:00 on Friday until they're gone. These are high strength beers from Torrsides' Cats and Dogs and Monsters series of beers. Served in halves or thirds only.
Littlewoods pies, sausage rolls and warm scratchings will help soak up the beer...
This event takes place at The Petersgate Tap from Friday 9 - Sunday 11 February
'Make Stuff' science event | Stockport Central Library | Sat 10 Feb | 11am
Budding scientists across Stockport can look forward to a special event at Central Library on 10 February.
The 'Make Stuff' day will feature a range of activities and experiments for young and old scientists alike.
These include feeling 1000 watts of bass power though your fingers, watching some dancing alien slime (Oobleck), making conraptions from upcycled computer guts, and much more.
There are 20 activities in all, teaching skills such as soldering, crafting, coding and more along the way.
Each activity will last around 15-20 minutes, and is open to all, irrespective of age or ability.
The event will run from 11am-3pm. Tickets cost £5 per family, although other tickets are available. For more details, check out the Make Stuff website HERE.
Futureshock Wrestling | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Sun 11 February | 5-8.45pm
Enjoy the spectacle of wrestling at Stockport Masonic Guildhall on Sunday 11 February, from 5-8.45pm.
Joe Blazr will face Kid Lykos for the Futureshock championship.
A description for this event reads: "Live professional wrestling to rival anything you'll see on TV. Now in our twentieth year, nobody does wrestling like FutureShock."
