Budding scientists across Stockport can look forward to a special event at Central Library on 10 February.

The 'Make Stuff' day will feature a range of activities and experiments for young and old scientists alike.

These include feeling 1000 watts of bass power though your fingers, watching some dancing alien slime (Oobleck), making conraptions from upcycled computer guts, and much more.

There are 20 activities in all, teaching skills such as soldering, crafting, coding and more along the way.

Each activity will last around 15-20 minutes, and is open to all, irrespective of age or ability.

The event will run from 11am-3pm. Tickets cost £5 per family, although other tickets are available. For more details, check out the Make Stuff website HERE.
