Stockport pizza spot to close - but it's not gone for good

A Stockport town centre pizza spot is closing its doors.
Crust, based at the Waterloo Works just outside Stockport town centre, will be leaving Stockport less than a year after opening.
Still, although it's sad news for Stockport town centre, it's ultimately good news for the business, as they'll be moving to a new location in Manchester city centre in what the owners hope will be a 'huge step up'.
The eatery specialises in craft pizzas, with dough made on site and fresh ingredients imported from Italy. And they boast a near flawless 4.8 stars on Google reviews.
It seems like Stockport's loss is Manchester's gain, in this instance!
Announcing their decision to move on social media, Crust's owners said that they'd tried looking for another site in Stockport but had been unable to find one.
"Our new home will be a huge step up from the Crüst you know and love", they said. "We can't wait to reveal what's to come!"
The owners also said: "Thanks to everyone who's popped down over the last year. We're eternally grateful for the support from our fantastic customers, and will look back on this period with huge gratitude.
"It's with great sadness that we announce our departure from Stockport. We know this will come as a disappointment to our Crüst family - we haven't made this decision lightly.
"More will be announced on our new place in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a huge thank you, and goodbye (for now) from the team."
