The Big Pants Party | Stockport Plaza | Fri 2 May | 7.30-10pm

Stockport Plaza will host a night of classic music in celebration of sisterhood.

Serenity Booksellers anniversary celebration | Romiley and Stockport branches | Sat 3 May | (see below for times)

Serenity Booksellers will be hosting a two-year anniversary celebration this weekend.
Expect raffles, giveaways, special offers, and even optional fancy dress.
A description for this event reads: "Serenity Booksellers will be celebrating two years of being open on Saturday 3rd May.
"This will be a completely free to join event for families and will have a very special guest, Postman Bear from Tales from Acorn Wood by Julia Donaldson who will be joining them in the bookshops for a very special story time too. The story times are:
- 11am at the Romiley Bookshop, 12 The Precinct SK6 4EA
- 2pm at the Stockport Bookshop, 11 Warren Street SK1 1UD

Fields to Fork Festival | Whitebottom Farm | Sat 3 - Sun 4 May

Enjoy a celebration of British food, countryside culture, and more at the Fields to Fork festival.
A description for this event reads: "Fields to Fork Festival is a celebration of British produce, farming, and countryside culture.
"Highlights include the Blok Live Fire Cooking Stage featuring Michelin-starred chefs like Lisa Goodwin-Allen and Aktar Islam, plus MasterChef winners Stu Deeley, Dan Merriman, Nikita Pathakiji, and Dan Lee.
