Three new businesses have moved into Stockport town centre, and very different ones, at that.

As of the past few weeks, visitors can enjoy a new yoga space, a listening bar, and a pop-culture merch store.

Setting off from Mersey Square to Great Underbank, the first new business you'll come across is Titan Pops, a store specialising in Funko merchandise. Funko is perhaps most famous for its Pop! vinyl figures, but more generally describes its whole product catalogue as "pop culture collectibles".

You can find all this and more at Titan Pops, which opened its doors on 30 March at 39 Chestergate, close to the air raid shelters. Opening times are Wednesdays from 4.30-7pm, Saturdays from 9am-5pm, and Sundays from 10am-4pm.

Stay tuned to their Facebook page HERE, or have a look at their website.

And then, a short jaunt on to Market Place, we find Tides Within, described as a "yoga and movement space in the Heart of Stockport". With a beautiful view onto Market Hall and St Mary's Church, the space lends itself well to relaxation.

In addition to hosting classes led by experienced teachers, the space can also be used for events and other workshops. Since its opening in February, a range of sessions have already taken place.

The Tides Within motto is to "provide everyday movement for everyday people". Whether you're new to yoga, or a seasoned yogi, it's all covered at this lovely spot.

And finally, rounding off our sojourn around the town centre, is Odioba in little Underbank. Currently going through a 'soft open' phase - meaning opening times will vary - this effortlessly cool spot is a 'listening bar'.

It sells a range of drinks, from artisan coffee to draught beer, in an environment which specialises in pristine sound quality. In other words, you can enjoy quality drinks whilst basking in the sounds of the bar's hi-definition vintage sound system, fed by an extensive vinyl collection.

Having previously been sited in Ancoats, Stockport's Underbanks represents a change of scenery for the business, and a welcome addition for us locals. Stay up to date on the Odioba website.
