Stockport will be hosting its first ever Vegan festival next year.

The festival will take place on Sunday 9 February 2025, at Stockport's Masonic Guildhall. According to the organisers, the aim is to 'promote veganism' and offer a one-stop-shop where local vegans can shop and talk.

The festival will feature live speakers, as well as classes and workshops (on subjects such as cooking on a budget).

There will also be 60 traders, selling food, drink, clothes, crafts, jewellery, candles, and more.

Entry is from £5 - and it's free for under 16s.

Festival organiser Victoria Bryceson said: "I started organising events like this 10 years ago with the aim of promoting veganism.

"Our events provide people with an ultimate shopping experience where many of your vegan products and services can be found in one place. We provide small and family run businesses with a place to promote and sell their products and services.

"We aim to educate people about what veganism is and to show people how easy, affordable, healthy and varied living a vegan lifestyle can be."
