Merseyway Shopping Centre will be open late on certain evenings this week for some later Christmas shopping.

The centre and shops will be open from 9am until 7pm on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th, and Monday 23rd December.

Further still, Merseyway is also hosting the 'Christmas Express Depot' - a weekend activity for youngsters to help get them in the Christmas spirit. It invites children to embark on a 'magical' adventure, helping to deliver Santa's mail in festive post boxes around the town centre.

If children manage to deliver all the letters, they'll get a chance to meet Santa himself, who is taking time out of his busy schedule to call at the Merseyway. They'll also get a free present!

The Christmas Express Depot is free, and will be running on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, from 11am to 2pm on each day.
