A new shop selling vintage and new LEGO has opened in Stockport's covered market. 

The Brick Prof is based in unit nine - near the St Mary's Church end of the hall. 

Having opened in March, they've already helped brick fans from Stockport and beyond either start or augment their collections. 

The Brick Prof is a veritable cornucopia of LEGO sets - and while there are plenty of current kits available at affordable 'pocket money' prices, the business also specialises in sealed collectible sets from retired themes. There are also plenty of pre-loved sets from different eras.

It's precisely this which has been attracting collectors from far and wide to this corner of the covered market. 

Best of all, The Brick Prof constantly rotates its stock, meaning with every visit you're likely to find something you might not have seen before.

As well as sets, they stock minifigures and LEGO-themed merchandise, and there's also a tub of bricks where you can 'pick and mix' parts to your liking. 

The shop is run by Will and Debbie Parnell, along with help from (another) Will.

The team has had an exciting few weeks since opening. As well as an 'amazing' response from local shoppers and the market community, the stall has already proved a popular choice not just for collectors but also for LEGO vloggers and influencers. 

"If you're around Manchester, definitely check this out", said @the.brick.builder on TikTok. 

Similarly, vloggers Full Time Favourites described it as 'a great little shop'

The Brick Prof's stock is carefully curated by Debbie and Will, themselves LEGO enthusiasts and therefore well-placed to choose the best items. 

The shop also has an online store, where you can browse the remarkable collection at your leisure. 

But if you fancy a browse in person, you can find The Brick Prof in Stockport's Market Hall at unit nine. 

Their opening hours are the same as Stockport Market's, that is to say, 9am-4.30pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
