Those looking for work or career advice will find lots of useful opportunities at the Stockport Council jobs fair.

This event takes place on Tuesday 19 September in Stockport Town Hall, from 11am-4pm.

Visitors will be able to learn more about jobs at the council, writing CVs, placements, and more.

This fair will be an exciting and unique opportunity to explore our wide variety of exciting roles available here at Stockport Council and our partners with something for everyone.

The fair will feature representatives from job areas including adult and children social care, administration, events and digital services. What's more, jobseekers can take part in informal practice interviews, and even hand in CVs directly to recruiting managers.

The Job Centre will also be on hand to help!

A statement on this event reads: "We hope that this fair will give you the opportunity to speak to our recruiting managers face-to-face, asking questions and finding out more about our roles, employee benefits and what it is like to be part of our team.

"There is no need to book in advance. Just turn up on the day and find out more about what it is like to be part of our team here at Stockport Council. Alternatively, you can book a free ticket here to help us get an idea of numbers!"

You can book a free ticket HERE.
