Stockport continues to be buffeted by wind and rain, as it experiences another day of weather disruption.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow weather warning covering northern parts of the UK, following winds 'associated with Storm Isha'.

The warning will remain in place in Stockport until tomorrow (Wednesday 24 January)

A Yellow weather warning means visitors should expect some disruption.

This could include the closure of some road and rail bridges, and it could also have an impact on public transport services such as rail and buses.

The Met Office also warns people to be wary of flying debris, and the possibility of damage to buildings such as fallen roof tiles and fence panels.

Power cuts may also occur, which may affect other services such as mobile phone coverage.

Other yellow weather warnings remain in place elsewhere in the North, with Amber warnings in place for parts of Scotland.

Although the South was under a Yellow warning yesterday, it has since been removed.
