Stockport bin collections to run earlier this week as workers deal with soaring temperatures

Bin collections in Stockport will be running earlier this week in light of 'exceptionally' warm temperatures.
Collections will be starting from 6.30am to make it a bit easier for crews dealing with the heat.
Stockport Council has asked residents to help workers by putting out their bins the night before collection.
A council spokesperson added: "As temperatures rise, bin collections will be starting slightly earlier than usual - from 6.30am this week - to support crews working in the heat."
