Popular Stockport bar teases return of 'golden era' in cryptic post

A bar in Stockport is teasing the return of a 'golden era'.
Fitzpatrick's, based in Stockport Exchange, has shared a cryptic post on social media teasing the return of a golden era and sharing a stylised picture of a letter 'k.'.
It might seem innocuous enough, but the 'k.' is stylised in the same format as 'Bask.', the former bar which operated on the same spot as Fitzpatrick's.
It also follows the same signature black and orange colour palette.
It is fuelling speculation that the much-loved Bask bar may be returning.
Bask opened in Stockport in June 2022, and quickly became a popular spot for nights out, live music, day-time coffee trips, and much more.
It was also famous for its regular events such as Mrs Boon's Tea Party, Bingo parties, acoustic nights, and much more.
Fitzpatrick's opened on the same site in July 2025, as an Irish-American sports bar and grill.
