Stockport Armed Forces day to return this summer

Stockport's annual armed forces day returns this summer, in celebration of brave service members across the borough, past and present.
This year's event takes place on Saturday 27 June.
The day will begin with the traditional parade, which will start at 10.45am from St Peter's Square and will finish in Market Place.
As well as this, there will be activities, displays and more across the town centre, for visitors of all ages.
Throughout the Underbanks, Market Place, Suffragette Square and Redrock, there will be exhibitors, demonstrators, live music and more.
Expect to see military vehicles and other replicas on display, as well as craft activities for young visitors.
The music will include choirs, the Hazel Grove Brass Band, and more.
A spokesperson for Merseyway Shopping Centre said: "Stockport is hosting an exciting Family Fun Day on Saturday 27th June and we're thrilled to be taking part!
"From parades and displays to live music and entertainment - come along for a grand day out and show support for those who make up the Armed Forces community."
