Join Serenity Booksellers for a delightfully dark and macabre evening as we celebrate the release of two brilliant new horror novels - Susan Barker's Old Soul and Lucy Rose's The Lamb. Susan and Lucy will be discussing their work with author Beth Underdown (The Witchfinder's Sister, The Key in the Lock)

Romiley Operatic Society (ROS) presents a showing of Evita at Stockport Plaza.

A description for this event reads: "Award winning company ROS (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers/Kipps/Priscilla) are proud to bring EVITA to the Plaza Theatre.

"From a life of poverty to spiritual leader of the nation, Eva Peron was loved, hated, derided and venerated. Dividing the Argentinian people with her patriotic speeches, her ambition, glamour and magnetism established 'Evita' as the world's first major political celebrity."

Reddish Mother's Day Market | Broadstone Mill (Reddish) | Sat 29 March | 11am-3pm

Upto 60 talented makers and traders have been hand-picked for the long-awaited return of Worker Bee Markets in Reddish.

It's Mother's Day weekend so the perfect day to browse for unique gifts and handmade cards that tell your mum how much you love her. Choose from affordable jewellery, homeware, garden inspiration, handmade skincare and bath products, crochet, knitting, hand-poured candles and lots of tasty treats.
