Paul 'Silky' White is a triple threat: comedian, musician, improviser. No two shows are the same, but they're all joyful. Get ready for free-wheeling stand up and barnstorming songs from one of the safest pairs of hands in the business, performing internationally since 1994.
You'll laugh, you'll be open-mouthed as he invents entire songs live, and you'll be humming the tunes for years.
As seen on The Stand-Up Show (BBC), The World Stands Up (Paramount), Comics Lounge (AUS).
Veteran of 10 Edinburgh Fringes, and festivals worldwide including Glastonbury's Legendary Cabaret Tent, Melbourne Comedy Festival, Bestival, the Green Man, and the final Towersey Folk Festival
Finalist: Musical Comedy Awards, Leicester Mercury Award, BBC New Comedy Award
Double Liverpool Echo Arts & Entertainment Award Nominee
"Absolutely brilliant. Great improviser, wonderful stand-up, beautiful singer" - Fred MacAulay, BBC Radio Scotland
"It's difficult to explain why Silky is such an important comedian. All I can do is point you in the direction of his shows…" – Phill Jupitus

Al Stevenson is the sharp-witted lad from Newcastle, with "bulletproof confidence" (Stand Newcastle), his charm allows him to tear through an audience with a cheeky grin. His "relentlessly hilarious" (Carl Hutchinson) performances of his "brilliant jokes" (Jack Whitehall) have seen him go all the way to the Beat The Frog World Series Finals, be tour support for Mark Nelson, international comic Kevin James Thornton and many more, and sellout the prestigious Stand Comedy Club with his debut solo show!
"Al Stevenson combines the blunt double-entendres of Julian Clary with the bored, world-weariness of Jo Brand." – Chortle
"He has funny bones with a magnetic aura." – Crissy Rock
