An online prize draw operator is looking forward to a 'wheely good' motoring-themed weekend.

High Peak Comps - which runs regular prize draws for cash, cars, gadgets, holidays, and more - is taking on the Krazy Races soapbox race in Stockport town centre on Sunday 9 August: and they're giving away a camper van on the same day!

In the camper van contest, which finishes up on Sunday 9 August at 7.29pm, one lucky winner will become the proud owner of a brand new VW T30.

They're also throwing £2,000 in with the online prize draw, too, to help you get settled in behind the wheel.

Further still, they're also including a full handover with Campers Direct to show you the ins and outs of your new van.

Tickets are 59p each - and if you fancy upping your chances, you can buy up to 4,000 tickets.

The winner announced at 8pm on Sunday 9th on the High Peak Comps Facebook page.

The team will ride a giant clog shoe around St Peter's Square, Stockport, to raise funds for the local charity that has supported carers since 1986.

High Peak Comps founder Charles Edwards and longest-serving employee Callen Deighan will be riding the soapbox for charity.

"Me and Cal are going to be riding in a clog-style shoe to raise funds for Signpost for Carers," said Charles.

"We recently installed a defibrillator at their Heaton Moor site, and learned all about their hard work supporting both young and adult carers.

"And just days after we paid for the installation of a defibrillator at Signpost for Carers, we are proud to announce our participation in Totally Stockport Krazy Races raising vital funds for the charity.

"Signpost for Carers do so much for the community, so in their 40th year, we are determined to fundraise £1000.

"Our motto is to change lives through our online prize draws, while having a laugh, and to take part in a time trial soapbox race while raising funds for this historic Stockport charity is truly a highlight of my life.
