New defibrillator installed at home of Stockport charity
By Alex Greensmith 5th Jun 2026
A new defibrillator has been installed in Heaton Moor.

"We are glad to know that the local residents now have a new defibrillator with 24/7 outdoor accessibility nearby.

Bethan Kelly, CEO of Signpost for Carers said "We are incredibly grateful to High Peak Comps for donating a defibrillator to Signpost for Carers.
"As a charity supporting thousands of unpaid carers and the wider community, having this equipment available at The Heatons Centre provides reassurance not only for our staff and volunteers, but for the many carers, families and community groups who walk through our doors each week.
"High Peak Comps bring fun and energy to everything they do, but behind that is a genuine commitment to creating safer, stronger communities and we cannot thank them enough."
High Peak Comps, established in 2020, hosts online prize draws for items such as cash and technology. Giving back is at the core of what they do, with over £200,000 of money or goods being given to charities, such as the defibrillator project.
High Peak Comps is determined to install 15 more defibrillators by the end of the year. More could be in Stockport.
