Flecky Bennett's Stockport Ghost Walk | Old Rectory (meeting point) | Thu 27 August | 7pm

The performance starts outside the beautiful "Haunted" Rectory.
Then, Flecky will guide you down the hill to the graveyard and the 'morgue', where you can enjoy a 30 minute pub interval (drinks not included!)
After the interval, the tour will weave its way through the backstreets towards the Underbanks!
There will be ghosts, horrible deaths and legendary rats!

A Laugh in Stockport Comedy Club | Thread (22 Market Place) | Thu 27 August | 7pm (doors) / 7.45pm (show starts)

Beach Party Foodie Friday | Stockport Market Place | Fri 28 August | 6-9pm

Stockport has been buzzing this summer and it's still not over! Stockport Foodie Friday have their final fling of the summer this Friday with their annual Beach Party Foodie Friday, so come beach ready!
There's a stellar line-up of 27 amazing award-winning street food traders - including the two winners of the British Street Food Awards Northern Heat Oh Mei Dumpling (Judges Winner) and Friends Corner Japanese (Peoples Choice) who are both going forward to the National Final in Sheffield.
As with all Foodie Friday events, there's fantastic live entertainment in the Market Hall from Ella Marchbank-Smith (6.20pm), Aria Eastwood (6.50pm) Echoes and Embers (7.20pm) and the headline band Maed In Music (8pm) a group of young musicians who will be playing some classic bangers.
On Great Underbank Foodie Friday will be hosting a DJ set from DJ Sooty from 5.30pm to 9pm outside The White Lion with a special appearance from the Pop Vox Choir at 7pm.
Foodie Friday is brought to you every month with support from their headline sponsors CDL Software and Robinsons Brewery and supporting venues Bakers Vaults, Thread, Angel Inn, The Cocked Hat, Calverts Court, The Good Rebel, The White Lion, The Underbank and Alfredo's Social.
Dig out your favourite beachwear to celebrate the last of the summer before the kids go back to school. Come hungry!
Party Time with Nick Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart | St Michael and All Angel's Church | Mon 31 August | 1-2pm

It's party time! Join Nick Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart for a party like no other.
You'll join them for party games, a draw-along, storytime and, of course, cake! You'll also leave with a party bag that includes a signed copy of You Choose: Party Time.
Perfect for readers aged 3-6, join us for a laugh-out-loud afternoon of party fun.
