Police have made 10 arrests and recovered six mopeds as part of a crackdown on robbery.
It comes as Greater Manchester Police (GMP) report a 7% decrease in robbery and a 37% reduction in vehicle crime since April 2024.
GMP's neighbourhood team in Stockport made the arrests last week (commencing 10 June), and also recovered six stolen mopeds which had been "needlessly vandalised due to the poor standard of riding".
One of those arrested was a 16-year-old boy, who is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty at his first court appearance.
Two others remain in police custody. The other seven are aged between 15 and 17, and are on police bail as investigations proceed.
Detective Sergeant Matt Tarr said: "We are really pleased that the work we are doing to tackle robberies and thefts is continuing to see positive results, and that we are still seeing reductions in overall offending, despite this recent series over the last couple of weeks. [...]
"We know that these offenders are primarily operating in groups, cowardly outnumbering victims, threatening them to steal their prized possessions.
"My final message is for the bullies committing such crimes - we know who you are and we will be relentless in our pursuit of you."
As investigations continue, anybody with information is encouraged to contact police by calling 101, by reporting online, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
Police also advised owners of mopeds to ensure they are safely locked and protected. Read more HERE.
