Cultures will converge in the Merseyway shopping centre this weekend in an 'unforgettable' international food and craft market.

Flavours and artistry from across the globe will be on offer from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd June, from 9am until 5pm each day.

Expect street vendors purveying art, crafts, and a huge range of food; expect savoury treats such as fiery curries, hog roasts, wok magic, and sweet options including cheesecakes, fudges, and much more.

Victoria Nichol, Merseyway Centre Manager said "Stockport has a fantastic reputation when it comes to championing all things food and drink and the town truly is in for a real treat this weekend!

"This event will showcase fantastic cuisine from small businesses whilst bringing something different into Merseyway. We're really excited about this weekend-long event and encourage everyone to come down and try something new!"

Merseyway is hosting this event in collaboration with Market Place Europe, a national company which organises similar markets across the UK.

Andy Pidgen, from Market Place Europe, said: "The people of Stockport have always supported the Market Hall and given us a warm welcome to this fantastic town; we can't wait to return! We have some great international traders joining us, so there will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy at this unique market."
