The Seashell Trust in Cheadle Hulme will be hosting a superhero-themed summer fair on Saturday 6 July, replete with street food and a market of more than 30 traders.

The fair will start from 12 noon, and will run until 4pm. And in addition to the market (run by Worker Bee), the fair will also feature live entertainment, bouncy castles, a bike ride, superhero parades, and music from Radio XS Manchester DJ Alex James.

Young visitors are encouraged to wear a superhero costume and join the aforementioned superhero parades, which run at half-hour intervals throughout the event.

Tickets are £1 for entry. Find more information HERE.

Seashell is a charity which supports young people with learning difficulties and complex disabilities. It runs an 'outstanding' school in Cheadle Hulme.

Seashell CEO Brandon Leigh said: "We're really looking forward to welcoming our local Cheadle Hulme and Heald Green community for this annual family event.

"Last year we opened our brand-new school and we're now fundraising for a new college. It's great that people will get to see the transformation of our campus every year at the Summer Fair!"

As for the Worker Bee market, visitors can expect the usual range of quality traders, purveying everything from street food to artwork.

Speaking recently on the ethos behind Worker Bee Markets, founder Clare Simpson said: "For me it's about trying to give a platform to talented makers.

"Whether they make food, or whether they paint, or knit - whatever it is they do, it's about trying to give as many different people as possible a way to showcase their goods and make some money."
