Missing 14-year-old Lily found after police appeal

A 14-year-old teenager who was reported missing on Saturday 3 January has now been found.

Lily, aged 14, had been missing since 5.15pm on Saturday after she was last seen in Stockport town centre.

Greater Manchester Police issued an appeal for information from the public to help find her.

Just before 3pm today (Tuesday 6 January 2026), GMP announced that she had been found.

"Thank you for sharing out appeal for Lily who was missing from Stockport", a spokesperson said.

"She has now been found."
