Weather warning for snow and ice in Stockport

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been raised for Stockport and Greater Manchester by the Met Office.
The warning will be in place until 12noon on Monday 5 January.
The warning also covers London, much of the Midlands and north Wales.
Meteorologists have warned of travel disruption.
"Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services," the warning said.
The temperature in Stockport throughout the morning will feel below freezing, starting around -4 degrees celsius at 9am before reaching 0 degrees celsius by midday.
Weather warnings are also in place for various parts of the country.
