Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision on the M60.

On Saturday 12 July, around 1.40pm, police were called to a collision on the anti-clockwise side of the motorway between Stockport and Denton (junctions 25 and 24).

A man in his 50s, believed to be the rider of the bike, was taken to hospital. His family have been informed.

It's not believed that any other vehicle was involved in the collision.

In a statement released on Sunday (13 July), a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash-cam footage to contact us.

"Officers also thank members of the public who stopped by the roadside to give the man initial first aid.

"Anyone with information or footage should contact us on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident 1903 of 12/07/2025. Details can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
