Doubtless many readers will have seen the new Sarah Harding artwork on High Street, in Stockport town centre.
The artwork's purposes are many; on the one hand, to celebrate the achievements of Sarah - a former Girls Aloud member - and by extension the Stockport music scene.
However, the artwork is also a reminder of the importance of early detection of breast cancer, a disease which Sarah battled with until her death in 2021, aged 39.
Sarah grew up in Stockport, and was cared for by The Christie - a local cancer centre - following her breast cancer diagnosis.
Cllr Mark Hunter, leader of Stockport Council, described the mural as "a beacon of hope and awareness".
He added: "I hope it encourages young women to be vigilant about their health, as well as drawing attention to the invaluable work of The Christie.
"It's a wonderful addition to the Underbank area and I'm pleased that we are able to help raise awareness."
Similarly, Louise Hadley, chief executive of The Christie, said: "When Sarah was being treated she was very keen for more research to be done to find out why young women are being diagnosed despite no other family members having been affected by the disease.
"This mural is a wonderful and creative way of drawing attention to such an important cause and hopefully raising much needed funds for the Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal."
The mural forms part of the Underbanks art trail, and was completed by Deggy, a musician and artist.
