A little piece of Stockport has made its way to Parliament.
Local distillery Stockport Gin has secured a spot on the shelves of the Strangers' Bar in the House of Commons.
This Stockport spirit secured its spot following a successful bid by Navendu Mishra, MP for Stockport.
It means MPs from across the UK will be able to sample some of Stockport's finest gin (and perhaps it will make them not a little envious!).
Mr Mishra also invited Stockport Gin's owners - husband and wife team Paul and Cheryl - to visit Parliament and see their bottles sitting proudly on the shelves of the Strangers' bar.
"I am thrilled to have played a role in bringing Stockport Gin to the Strangers' Bar", Mr Mishra said.
"Stockport Gin is an iconic Stockport company and exemplifies the innovation and excellence that defines our town and its thriving independent businesses.
"After receiving a 'Best in Britain' award at the British Gin Awards, Stockport Gin has continued to go from strength to strength and attract the national attention it deserves.
"I am committed to advocating for Stockport's small businesses, which make such an important contribution to the strength and vibrancy of our local economy and communities."
Paul and Cheryl said: "We could not be happier to see Stockport Gin on the shelves of the Strangers' Bar and want to thank Navendu for working hard to promote us and advocate for our sector.
"We are extremely proud to be a Stockport-based company and can't wait to see what the future holds for both our company and our town."
Stockport Gin is a 'premium craft gin' comes in a number of different flavours. Paul and Cheryl are involved in every step of the process, from selecting botanicals, distilling, bottling, and even applying labels. Read more on the Stockport Gin website HERE.
