A new mural celebrating Stockport's heritage crafts has been unveiled just outside the town centre.
The mural, designed by renowned artist Oskar with a K, adorns the facade of Kingston House, near the junction of Kingston Street and Wood Street.
The building is currently being used as a temporary artists' studio by GRIT, the Stockport-based artists' collective.
The design features motifs showing some of the different crafts and skills which have built Stockport, and aims to capture themes of "imagination, resilience, place and identity".
Oskar was behind the design and painting, with lino print maker Cherry Mae working alongside.

Its completion also coincides with the culmination of the 'Crafted Futures Week' - a week of activities organised by GRIT which aimed to revitalise some of Stockport's heritage crafts which run the risk of being lost to future generations.
Throughout that week, young participants worked with expert makers across disciplines including stone masonry, metalwork, textiles and digital fabrication.
Oskar also spent time meeting the groups, gathering ideas and feedback, and synthesising their concepts into the final mural design.
"Creating this mural as part of Crafted Futures has been brilliant", Oskar said.
"I wanted the mural to celebrate creativity in all its forms and to reflect the heritage talent growing right here in Stockport."
John Macaulay co-founder of GRIT Studios added: "This collaboration embodies everything we value ~ creativity, community and also celebrates Stockport's rich heritage, which is still going strong today. Oskar has created something truly special for Stockport."
