La Capilla is the newest addition to Stockport's Market Place, bringing a little piece of Mexico to the Pennine foothills.

The new eatery is in the old Blackshaws building, perched on a corner and in a perfect spot to survey the historic square.

Outdoor seating is, as it stands, a rather idyllic sun-trap, whilst the interior of the building retains the charm of its predecessor with an added South American flair.

This makes the second La Capilla restaurant in Stockport, with an existing Heaton Chapel branch having already proved a firm favourite.

Visitors can expect the same range of authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine; burritos, tacos, a range of small plates and sides, as well as a Saturday and Sunday brunch menu which features French toast, avocado and eggs, and more.
