Much-loved Bramhall restaurant celebrates 30-year anniversary

A much-loved Stockport restaurant is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Romulus, a family-owned Italian restaurant on Woodford Road, Bramhall, opened its doors in 1996.
The restaurant has aimed to bring an 'Italian flair' to Stockport, providing delicious food in their distinct trattoria-style layout.
Their name derives from Romulus, the legendary founder of Rome in 753 BCE.
It was chosen to inspire a 'Scene of Roman Life' where food, wine and friendship was a way of life - not just a night out!
In its thirty-year history, the restaurant has become a huge hit with locals.
Customers have variously described it as 'one of the best restaurants I've ever been to', with 'wonderful atmosphere and service'.
Indeed, it boasts a near flawless 4.6 stars on Google reviews.
And for good reason - as well as the cosy atmosphere, the food itself is made fresh using a mix of carefully selected imports from Italy alongside fresh local produce.
The aim is to "create a spirit of passion and versatility" in all the dishes.
You can book a table at Romulus on their website.
