A McDonald's restaurant in Reddish has re-opened following an extensive redesign.

The site, at Sandy Lane, has undergone a 'convenience of the future' design. This includes separate facilities for dine-in customers and couriers, a more contemporary dining room, and improved back of house facilities.

This aims to combine a new layout with new technology to provide "a more seamless and enjoyable experience for customers".

Other sites across the UK are undergoing the same 'convenience of the future' redesign - Sandy Lane is one of the first in Greater Manchester to do so.

Stuart Broadbelt, who owns and operates five McDonald's restaurants in Greater Manchester and Derbyshire said: "I'm proud to reinvest in our Stockport, Sandy Lane restaurant - especially as McDonald's celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year! [...]

"It's exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Sandy Lane restaurant and I'm confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff who have all been very complimentary about the redesign behind the scenes that will help make their jobs a little easier."

Summing up, a McDonald's spokesperson said: "the revamp will offer a more efficient way to order and will leave customers with more space to enjoy their meal".

The restaurant is based at Sandy Ln, Reddish, Stockport SK5 7NZ.
