A man has been arrested in connection with anti-HMO graffiti left at properties around Stockport and Greater Manchester.
The man, aged 29, was arrested on Monday 2 October on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage.
It means that Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has now arrested eight people as part of enquiries into damage caused to houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) or properties mistaken for HMOs.
Since 5 October, police have been made aware of damage caused to properties in Salford, Tameside, Stockport, Bolton, Rochdale and Wigan.
"The man is being questioned in connection with damage caused to properties in Greater Manchester during October", GMP said.
GMP is continuing to investigate the incidents and is asking anybody who has information which may help to report it via 101 or on their website.
