Heaton Moor's Savoy cinema will be the venue for June 2024's Made in Stockport Awards.

The awards aim to celebrate the huge range of businesses across Stockport borough. All manner of businesses, from food, crafts, independent shops and more compete across nine categories.

Winners are chosen by public vote; last year they included town centre cafe Coffee Block, artist Kate O'Brien, and Romiley homeware store Echo Designs

In 2023, the Made in Stockport Awards attracted over 6,000 votes from across the town.

Former BBC Radio Manchester and Key 103 presenter Chelsea Norris will host the awards, herself the owner of Minnie and Teds, a Stockport based interior design and homeware business.

Aqua Design Group will be producing videos for the awards to showcase the town and the qualifying businesses.

Dylan Moore, owner of Aqua Design Group commented: "I wanted to broaden my knowledge and skills within Adobe, so have been getting to grips with Premiere Pro and help other small business with video creation for their business."
