Inside La Vida, Stockport town centre’s newest café

By Alasdair Perry 8th Apr 2024

Stockport has another quality local eatery to visit in the town centre.

La Vida opened on Friday 5 March on Warren Street, near the former Sainsbury's building.

It offers delicious hot drinks (we can certainly vouch for that), as well as a wide selection of cakes, sandwiches, and cold drinks.

What's more, the café will soon open a dedicated afternoon tea area. At current, the café is based on the ground floor of the space at 35 Warren Street.

Within a few days, however, an upstairs area will open, offering a special afternoon tea service for those looking for something a bit different from the usual café affair.

La Vida's owner said the aim is for the venue - upstairs and downstairs - to be cosy, welcoming, and with an easy, warm atmosphere.

This was certainly the case during our visit, with lovely staff, a delicious menu, and a thoroughly pleasant ambience.

Whether you're looking for a spot for a brew with family and friends, or just a place to pitch up and read or work for an hour, La Vida is most certainly worth a try.

You can find La Vida at 35 Warren Street, SK1 1UD.

A website for the café is also in the works HERE.
