The Flying Horse in Heald Green will serve a special ale brewed to celebrate the coronation.

This 4% ABV ale can be found in a selection of Greene King pubs across the UK.

According to the dedicated Coronation Ale finder, The Flying Horse is the only pub in the Stockport area to serve this light, thirst-quenching golden serve.

The London Post described the it as "a refreshing 4% hoppy serve, with drinkers able to enjoy notes of citrus and tropical fruit from four fragrant hops upon tasting.

"The light, fruity style of the beer means it's the perfect pairing for a wide range of fish dishes. Everything from pub classics such as fish & chips, right up to seasonal serves like seared salmon or creamy fish pie."

Jack Palmer, head brewer at Greene King, said: "There's nothing like a royal event to bring the nation together, with thousands of Brits across the UK due to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III in their local pub next month.

"Such a historic occasion deserves a truly standout beer, and Coronation Ale is just that. The fragrant and thirst-quenching style makes it incredibly versatile, meaning our customers can enjoy it whilst celebrating with their friends, or whilst enjoying a classic pub meal at one of our pubs."

The ale is available from now until May 14.

Those far from Heald Green can also find serving pubs in Manchester City Centre, or else order some bottles online HERE. Please only order if you are over 18.
