Store assistant - ASDA (lates)

ASDA is looking for a new store assistant to work at its Hazel Grove store on a temporary part-time basis. These will be late shifts, with 25 hours per week and £11.11 per hour. 

According to the job description: "Our late shifts can finish between midnight and 2am. We'll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

"There's a role for everyone in retail - from serving our customers, perfecting pizzas, unpacking deliveries or filling shelves. 

"Wherever you are, we put our customers first with excellent service, welcoming stores and 'extra special' products – we work as a team to maximise sales and deliver a great shopping experience. 

"We'll help you to become a star colleague from learning about food safety to making sure our customers are served with a smile. If you're looking for flexible working or a chance to develop in retail, this could be the role for you!"

Sales assistant - Superdrug

Superdrug is looking for a sales assistant to work for eight hours per week in part-time flexible shifts. The salary is up to £10.85 per hour. 

According to the job description: "Your role at Superdrug as one of our Sales Advisers will be all about serving customers where you will deliver excellent service and make sure customers don't miss out on any of our great Star Buys. 

"You'll help ensure that the store is well stocked, and a high level of store presentation is maintained and will actively be involved in achieving the store targets. 

"To support your development, you'll also have the opportunity to be trained in ear and nose piercing to support our fast-growing piercing business in store."

Stock room retail assistant - Primark 

Primark is looking for a stock room retail assistant to work on a permanent part-time basis. The shift pattern for this role is 5am-9am, and comes with a salary of £11 per hour. 

According to the job description, the role involves: "Keeping the stockroom looking great and well organised to allow better visibility and to promote a safe working environment;

"Transferring stock between the stockroom and the shop floor;

"Receiving, receipting, unpacking, checking off and organising new deliveries every day in a fast and efficient way, and ensuring they are packed away or put on sale;

"Making sure we minimise stock damage and loss;

"Providing a great stockroom environment by organising and allocating the stock while supporting and helping colleagues from the shop floor."

Supermarket assistant - Waitrose

Waitrose is looking for a supermarket assistant to work at the Cheadle store on a temporary basis. This role involves 37.5 hours per week, and a salary of £10.50-£11.48. 

According to the job description: "We are looking for someone who keeps up to date on food and drink trends, knows our products, takes pride in whatever they do, carrying out everything to the highest standards, making sure the shop floor is shipshape, ready for when our customers arrive. 

"Whether they are shopping for a healthy lunch, a top up on fresh fruit and veg, the weekly shop or a special occasion, we want every customer to enjoy their shopping experience, confident in our products and confident in our Partners.

"The role of a supermarket assistant involves a range of tasks, including advising and serving customers, moving and replenishing stock, carrying out housekeeping activities and handling cash and card transactions according to set procedures. 

"Partners may be expected to work in any area of the branch to support the wider team as required, and to maintain the necessary business dress and hygiene standards."

Lead activities coordinator - Harbour Healthcare

Harbour Healthcare is looking for a lead activities coordinator to work at the Hilltop Court care home in Heaton Norris. This is a permanent full-time role, with a salary of £11.20 per hour.
