Finalists have been announced for the Made in Stockport Awards 2024, in line for a June ceremony at Heaton Moor's Savoy cinema.

The awards aim to celebrate the huge range of businesses across Stockport borough. All manner of businesses, from food, crafts, independent shops and more compete across nine categories. 

The shortlist was chosen from 200 nominations, all made by residents across the borough.

Following the initial round of voting, residents can now vote on the shortlisted businesses. It's an excellent opportunity to say thanks for that brilliant brew you had, or the top service you experienced.

Winners last year included town centre cafe Coffee Block, artist Kate O'Brien, and Romiley homeware store Echo Designs

In 2023, the Made in Stockport Awards attracted over 6,000 votes from across the town.

Former BBC Radio Manchester and Key 103 presenter Chelsea Norris will host the awards, herself the owner of Minnie and Teds, a Stockport-based interior design and homeware business. 

Voting closes on 24 May.
