Emergency services called to Reddish as house engulfed by fire

Emergency services were called to a house fire in Reddish in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 4 March).
The fire has since been put out, but emergency services remain at the scene on Bradfield Close.
No-one was rescued during the blaze.
Police officers, ambulance crews and crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were all called to the scene.
In total, eight fire engines were in attendance, as well as an air unit.

A GMFRS spokesperson said: "At around half past midnight today, (Tuesday, March 4), firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a residential property on Bradfield Close in Stockport.
"Eight fire engines from Gorton, Stockport, Ashton, Blackley, Whitehill, Philips Park and Hyde fire stations, along with the aerial ladder platform, the enhanced rescue unit, and the air unit quickly arrived at the scene.
"Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the fire, which had spread to the neighbouring property, using jets, hose reels and a thermal imaging camera.
"The fire has now been extinguished, and some crews remain at the scene as they continue to make the building safe."
