New Disney+ drama features scenes shot in Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall

Parts of Stockport have featured in an exciting new drama which launched around the world this month.
The Stolen Girl - which is showing on Disney+ and Hulu in the US - featured scenes shot in Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme.
The show, which centres around the abduction of a young girl, used a Victorian house in Bramhall for the protagonist's family home, and also used The Cheadle Hulme School to serve as the young girl's school.
It means that Stockport has once again commanded the attention of millions of viewers both in the UK and internationally.
Explaining the location choices, locations manager Kevin Jackson told Time Out that the team "went through several different schools to try and find the right one".
"The preferred school that everybody liked was just a mile away from the main house, so we could properly build a real world and not travel too far from the area", he said.
A description for the show reads: "A seemingly ordinary decision turns the world of Elisa, mum to two young kids, upside down.
"When her daughter Lucia asks to go to a sleepover at her new best friend Josie's house, Elisa agrees.
"After meeting Josie's mother, Rebecca, she's put at ease by her charming nature and their impressive house. But when she says goodnight to her daughter, she has no idea that she is about to be thrust into every parent's worst nightmare."
The programme has been well-received, scoring 91 percent among critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
As well as Stockport, the show also features parts of Manchester city centre, Whalley Range, Lancashire, and more.
You can watch The Stolen Girl on Disney+ in the UK.
