What to expect from the upcoming ‘Teenage Market’ at Edgeley Park
Budding entrepreneurs in Stockport will be able to try their hand at market trading at an upcoming event at Edgeley Park.
The 'Teenage Market' will take place on Sunday 14 April, from 11am-4pm in the stadium's 1883 conference suite.
It gives free stalls to young traders from the ages of eight upwards, allowing them to sell their own handmade products.
Visitors can expect more than 40 young traders, purveying everything from art, clothes, and wooden crafts. There will also be hair and makeup students from local colleges, as well as Marple Sixth Form College Art Students.
There will even be live music and dance from talented young performers across the borough.
And to sweeten the deal further still, Stockport County will be providing catering with their 'Build-A-Burger' counter and the licensed bar will be open.
Founded in 2012, the Teenage Market's aim is to "celebrate the abundance of creative talent in our town".
