Applying for jobs online can sometimes feel difficult and disheartening, particularly in instances where you receive no response.

For those who prefer an in-person approach, or if you're looking for some general job-hunting advice, the upcoming Cheadle jobs fair on 25 April is worth a look.

This free event takes place at All Hallows Church from 10am-2pm. There will be employers who are hiring, with both full-time and part-time roles on offer; and in many cases, prior job experience will not necessarily be a requirement.

CV help, further education advice, and general working wisdom is also available.

Further still, visitors to the fair can find financial advice from the 'Money Maximising Roadshow'. The advisors there might be able to alert you to benefits or other money-saving measures you may be able to claim.

And, to sweeten the deal still more, food and drink is also available.

You can turn up on the day, or register your attendance in advance HERE.
