Stockport County stalwart Fraser Horsfall will be giving an exclusive talk at Bask in support of a charity close to his heart.

'An Evening with Fraser Horsfall' will take place on Wednesday 22 January, in support of Forever Friends of Uganda.

Hosted by club president Steve Bellis, the evening will feature insight, anecdotes and more from the defender, in what is sure to be a fascinating night for County fans. The evening will also feature a raffle, to help raise money (and there will also be a special guest!).

The money raised will go towards the Forever Friends charity, founded by Woodsmoor resident Keith Mills. The charity's work helps support orphans and children in Uganda, securing scholarships and education to enable talented youngsters to realise their potential - especially when they might not otherwise have had the opportunity.

Their work has already helped create a new generation of Ugandan teachers, lawyers, doctors and business people, and trades like construction, welding, hairdressing and lots more.

Club president Steve Bellis said he was "really looking forward to hosting this".

He added: "Fraser is a top guy with some great stories to tell.

"It will also be great to raise some money for the Forever Friends of Uganda charity, set up by one of our own - Keith Mills - many years ago.

"Through his work, hundreds of children have enjoyed an education that wouldn't have been possible without the charity.

"Please come along and support Keith and Fraser!"

Tickets are £11, or £6.60 for Forever Friends of Uganda supporters and / or co-op members.

Tickets can be bought online here.
