Bramhall's Village Square is under new ownership and management.

Previous owners Wain Estates have sold the 56,000 sq ft space to Sheet Anchor Commercial Property, an international property management company.

Whilst Sheet Anchor will be the new owners, the site will be managed by LCP Group, an investment and property management company.

Village Square, which is home to 31 independent and chain retailers, was put on the market for £8.8m Place North West reports. However, the amount which the property ultimately sold for has not been revealed.

The site generates an estimated £726,700 per year.

Wain Estates property director Paul Wrigglesworth, said: "The Village Square is a hugely popular centre in the heart of Bramhall village.

"However, by selling now, it allows us to concentrate on Wain Estates' core business of strategic land development and properties with value-add potential. We are pleased to hand over the reins to a respected operator like LCP."
