Part of Reddish Road was closed today following a traffic collision between a van and a pedestrian.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed that there was an incident on Reddish Road today where a van collided with a girl on Reddish Road.

Reports of delays came from traffic updates account MancTraffic on Twitter today, describing police closures from Broadstone Hall Road South to Reddish Vale Road. A diversion is in place on Greg Street, but traffic remains slow.

Emergency services attended the scene; the girl sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
